Bringing You the Best in Frequency Specific Microcurrent Care

Between our two Doctors of Physical Therapy, Madelyn Altman and Jessie Tierney, we logged over 60 hours of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) training in the past 2 weeks!

But the number of hours logged isn’t what really matters.  The quality of the FSM training offered by Dr. Carol McMakin is what our Physical Therapists were there for, to truly up-level the services we bring to our patients at The Healing Collective.

FSM is a novel way to treat pain and inflammation, heal from surgeries, prevent the progression of painful conditions, and so much more. Our Physical Therapists always use FSM in combination with their skilled hands-on treatments and exercise prescription at every session.  And now they have lots of new ideas and approaches to incorporate into appointments!

At the FSM Core, the essential foundations of Frequency Specific Microcurrent are developed (and we can tell you from experience, even if you’ve attended the Core 5+ times, there’s always more to learn!). FSM changes the way that therapists use their hands and how we problem solve tough cases.

Kim Pittis, LCSP, (PHYS), MT, taught a fantastic FSM Sports & Advanced Sport course that empowered practitioners with even better ways to improve motor control and optimize performance.  Athletes looking for an edge in both competition and recovery can benefit significantly from Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

The FSM Advanced this year brought Dr. Gerald Pollack, author of the Fourth Phase of Water, Dr. Jay Shah from the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Neil Nathan, specialist in the treatment of biotoxin illness, and so many more inspiring field leaders to share the latest research and findings in how to treat challenging conditions and the basic science concepts behind why FSM works the way it does.

The Advanced also hosted a symposium with over 18 case studies, one of which presented by our very own Dr. Jesse! Stay tuned for a future blog post with details from her Case.

What this all means for you, beloved clients, is that at The Healing Collective you have access to a technology (and the passionate people who know how to use it) which has the potential to improve your outcomes more than you ever dreamed possible.

We offer a free consultation so you can determine if FSM is right for you.
