Deep, Everlasting Healing from the Inside Out

Since she was a child, Tracy knew she wanted to do healing work. She loved the idea of addressing the whole person; practicing medicine without considering the emotional and spiritual components missed too much for her. She eventually discovered her true calling through functional medicine, as she always has wanted to support clients to create deep, everlasting healing from the inside out.

Tracy found that she could truly get to the heart of the matter through functional medicine–a paradigm of care that seeks to identify and heal the root cause of disease instead of treating the symptoms. As someone who practices shamanism, she views functional medicine as the most shamanic way to address the spiritual and physical to facilitate holistic healing.

Why Tracy Founded The Healing Collective

After working as a nurse practitioner in a traditional medical setting, Tracy knew she was ready to make the switch to holistic nurse practitioner. Then, over time, she began to study functional medicine and built her business until she founded The Healing Collective in 2014.

“My way of doing this is not just the nuts and bolts of functional medicine, which are wonderful, but it’s about more than just clearing infections and toxins and improving nutrient levels,” said Tracy. “All of these things are great, but if you don’t help people understand why things happen on an emotional and spiritual level, they’re likely to end up there again. And I really enjoy helping clients through this healing journey.”

Today, Tracy’s specialties include functional medicine, autoimmune disease, thyroid disorders, GI issues, detoxing and toxicity testing, hormone balancing, women’s health, and acute and chronic care.

In her work, Tracy focuses on helping clients to gain a new perspective on their conditions, so they aren’t in a victim state. She guides them to see their symptoms as their body’s allies, showing them what’s out of alignment so they can understand it in a way that will help them stop the cycle and find long-lasting healing.

Outside work, Tracy enjoys practicing and teaching shamanic healing, spending time in nature, dancing, making pottery, and spending time with her daughter.
