Judi’s Approach to Functional Medicine

Judi combines evidence-based medicine with the principles of Functional Medicine to uncover the underlying factors contributing to illness and help restore greater balance and vitality.

She places particular emphasis on food as medicine and the powerful relationship between nutrition, digestive health, the microbiome, and the brain. She helps people understand how these interconnected systems can influence physical health as well as mood, cognition, energy, and overall well-being.

Judi uses both conventional and specialized laboratory testing, to better understand each person's unique physiology. Including comprehensive blood panels, stool testing, genetic testing, hormones (saliva and urine), nutrient and toxic elements, and metabolic testing.

Treatment plans may include therapeutic nutrition, botanical and nutritional supplements, prescription or compounded medications, homeopathics, movement and lifestyle interventions.

Judi believes deeply in collaborative partnership and offers guidance to educate and empower people to better understand their bodies and make informed choices that nurture their long-term health and well-being.
