HeartMath technology is an innovative approach to improving your emotional wellbeing.

Learn to change your heart rhythm pattern to create physiological coherence, a scientifically measurable state characterized by increased order and harmony in the mind, emotions, and body.

Science demonstrates that we can train our autonomic nervous system to support our well-being. Evidence-based techniques provide objective and measurable ways to see improvements in physiological and behavioral functioning.

My Certification from HeartMath allows me to work with individuals and groups of 6-10 people. There are 6 techniques that are available for teaching and they are deceptively simple compared to the impact they can have on people’s lives. The technologies available are on laptops, handheld devices, and cell phones.

During a HeartMath teaching session, Heart Rate Variability is assessed using a laptop program. The technologies assess if an individual is achieving the desired physiologic state and clearly show the difference between a stressed state and a heart-based coherent state. Devices can be used for practice at home or after a stressful situation, and for help in achieving long term physiologic change.

HeartMath is a corporation that provides programs for teaching biofeedback techniques and has accumulated research on its efficacy by measurement of Heart Rate Variability (HRV).  Changes in physiology occur in the Autonomic Nervous System with the use of these techniques that promote resilience and heart rhythm coherence synchronizing heart and brain.   The use and practice of biofeedback techniques help to improve mental and emotional wellbeing, increase calmness and focus in work and home situations, prevent burn-out, depression and stress-related disorders, reduce anxiety and fatigue.

HeartMath’s definition of resilience is “the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress, challenge and adversity.”  I look forward to empowering you to achieve resilience.
